As the size of the slide is kept within a certain level due to strict control of precision, it has a retainer design to avoid the fall of the steel balls. This makes some series interchangeable, thus allowing customers to order slips as they need. Moreover, rails or sliders can be stored separately to reduce storage space.
The four-row circular groove with 45 degree contact angles, along with the four rows of steel balls ensure that the steel balls reach the ideal two-point contact structure. This allows the linear slide to handle the load from various directions, and if needed preload can be applied to increase its rigidity.
